Meet Sean Heather!

Sean Heather McGraw is a freelance harpist, actor, author, and museum educator.

She plays harp and tells stories/folktales for nursing homes, schools, libraries and churches. She has performed her autobiographical solo show This Irish Evening through Legacy Theatre in Connecticut.

She portrayed Bob Cratchett in Glimmerglass Theatre’s stage production of A Christmas Carol (2025), and most recently the character “Carol” in the student short film “You Miss 100% of the Shots You Don’t Take” (Dir. Evie Dolan). She also taught college-level history and literature at several institutions, most recently Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and SUNY University at Albany in New York State.

She is the author of How the Irish Made America Home (Rosen Publ), 2018, a textbook for middle-schoolers, and the original fairy tale Fiona and the Dragon.
